Musée National Gustave-Moreau
Friday I didn't have to babysit until later in the day, so I decided to go to another museum- this one in the 14th. My little guidebook had this museum listed in the "off the beaten path" section and promised it would be one of the more unique experiences I'd have in Paris. Apparently Gustave Moreau planned on turning his house into a museum for his works, so he planned the entire set-up and it was ready even before he died. I had actually never heard of him (eek, I know, I should work on my art history) but I loved this museum! The set-up was really awesome. It was in the top two floors of his actual house, and he made sure it had tons of light and high ceilings. It was really neat!
