Champs Elysées Nature Capital

Two weekends ago (May 23), while Joel was in France but in Arles, my friend Laura and I went to a huge gardening display on the Champs-Elysées- quite a change from its normal reputation as the glitziest, "most beautiful avenue in the world" (obviously it was the FRENCH who coined this nickname), lined with luxury brand stores like Louis Vuitton and Lacoste. The government closed the street and set up a huge farm display, apparently to draw attention to some agricultural crisis (? whatever, all I know is that we got free stuff!)

For Grandmom again, I included pictures of PEOPLE!! Also, as a fun surprise, a picture I got off the internet of good old Sarko and his cheating wife Carla at the event!
